Dmitry specializes in supporting projects in the field of corporate law, real estate, commercial relations, foreign economic activity, and litigation.

Dmitry provides comprehensive advising to Russian and foreign clients. He directly carries out representation of interests of clients in the courts on arbitration and civil cases.

From 2011 to 2013, he provided legal support for the economic activities of budgetary institutions. He directly participated in the procedure of organizing and conducting purchases of goods for state needs, and also ensured the execution of terms of state contracts by state agencies.

After leaving the civil service, from 2012 to 2014 Dmitry worked as an expert at the law firm Breeva, Yemelyanov & Partners. As a part of the team, he took part in the projects on the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards. Dmitry was also engaged in advising to Russian and foreign clients on certain business issues in Russia.

From 2013 to 2014, Dmitry acted as a leading legal advisor in the team of lawyers of the group of companies Autoworld. In particular, he provided legal support for the use of real estate by this group of companies.

From 2014 to 2017, Dmitry, together with Mikhail Fadeev, established the law firm Element-LM and provided legal advising to the firm’s clients. During this period, Dmitry participated in the implementation of more than 200 projects.

In 2017, after the rebranding of the law firm Element-LM, Dmitry took the position of partner in the law firm Mikhail Fadeev & Partners.

Industry experience: international private law, government procurement, wholesale and distribution, retail, sale and purchase and rent of real estate.

Dmitry is fluent in English.

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL ACHIVEMENTS:

It 2016 he became a candidate for a Ph.D. degree at the legal department of the Lomonosov Moscow State University. Area of scientific interests – arbitration. Theme of thesis work – recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards that have been canceled at the place of their issuance.

In 2014, after graduation from MGIMO (U) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, he was awarded the Master of Jurisprudence qualification. Dmitry graduated from the European Studies Institute at MGIMO. The master’s thesis of Dmitry is dedicated to the recognition and enforcement of awards of the international commercial arbitration in the territory of EU, canceled at the place of their issuance.

In 2011, he took part in the International Summer School of Continental Law organized by the Society of Comparative Law at the University of Paris (Sorbonne).

In 2010, he was awarded the international degree of LLM in International Business Law with merit (The University of Manchester, UK).

In 2007, he graduated with honors from the Academy of Law and Management (Ryazan), department of jurisprudence, specialty: Jurisprudence.

Dmitry received a number of state and departmental awards.
